Join Our Team

TheGlobalNovel.com is currently hiring for one or more paid positions:

  • Podcast Cohost & Assistant Producer (combined role)

  • Podcast Cohost (standalone role)

We are particularly interested in graduate students (M.A./Ph.D.) in literature, history, cultural studies, philosophy, or related fields, whether still in school or on the job market—we are looking for individuals who are passionate about their own work and share it with the world in a radically accessible and meaningful way.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applicants who can adapt their graduate-level research—such as seminar papers, seminar presentations, conference presentations, or dissertations—into engaging podcast episodes or essays for our e-zine. Editorial guidance and mentorship will be provided to help make your work more accessible to a general audience.

There are currently two formats for podcast episodes:

  1. Content based on your own research: Transform your academic work into episodes that connect with a global public.

  2. Research-based episodes with interviews: Engage with the latest scholarship by interviewing renowned scholars, philosophers, and public intellectuals in the field—and bring your own critical perspective to the table.

About Us

TheGlobalNovel.com is an online educational multimedia platform dedicated to making artistic and humanistic inquiry accessible worldwide. As a leading voice in public humanities, our podcast has featured notable scholars including Peter Brooks, Jean-Michel Rabaté, Andrew H. Plaks, David Kunzle, and Howard Mancing.

How to Apply

Please email the following materials to editor@theglobalnovel.org:

  • Your CV

  • A cover letter describing your research interests, relevant experience, and why you’re excited to join TheGlobalNovel.com

An interview and a hosting demo may be followed. We look forward to hearing from you!
